Warner Bros. bringing the boy wizard’s building block adventures to a close at height of holiday release season.
The Harry Potter series of novels grew increasingly grim as the books approached the climactic showdown between Harry and Voldemort, full of weighty subjects like death, betrayal, and redemption. Gamers will soon have a chance to relive the tail end of the saga in children’s building-block form, as Warner Bros. Interactive today announced that Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will debut November 11 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, 3DS, PSP, Wii, DS, and PC.
All of the games will cover the events of the series’ last three books: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (which was split into two for the series’ film adaptations). Additionally, the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 movie on Blu-ray will also include a demo for the PS3 game.
