The newly-announced Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary won’t be priced as if it a new game, nor will it be particularly cheap. 343 Industries’ David Ellis brings word on Twitter that the game will cost $39.99 upon its release on November 15.
The official Halo website has also posted some new screenshots of the game alongside a few from the original version of Halo: Combat Evolved so you can get an idea of the type of visual improvements that the game will see.
Besides online co-op, the game will have online multiplayer, although it would appear that seven Combat Evolved maps are simply being reworked to run on the Halo Reach engine (which would explain the assassination seen in the trailer), rather than an online component being built for the original game’s multiplayer mode. We’ll report back when we learn more hard details on what to expect.
