Diablo II (and its expansion) is quite possibly my favorite game of all time, so anytime I hear about Diablo III nearing a release, I get very excited. Blizzard is still being fairly coy about when the game will be out, but hearing director Jay Wilson describe the game as being in the “home stretch,” as he did in a recent interview, is surely a good sign. The possibility of a 2011 release has not been ruled out so I’m clinging to the hope that we’ll see it hit store shelves before next year. My left mouse button is more than ready to be worn out.
