Anonymous says it’s not responsible for the current PlayStation Network outage we’re experiencing. Assuming that’s true, I don’t find myself agreeing with the argument that gamers have no right to complain simply because the service is free. It’s an especially bad issue for those who might be looking to play the Capcom games that require an active internet connection (meaning they currently cannot be played). Besides them, there are people who buy the PS3 versions of games expecting to be able to play online without any hassle. PSN being free doesn’t mean they shouldn’t expect it to be available on a reliable basis. Hopefully this issue is resolved soon and doesn’t extend too far into the weekend.
