This week’s issue of Famitsu may not have a lot of new titles to get ramped up about, but the “coming next week” section is pretty fascinating. Among the things it touts is coverage of six Capcom games, including Street Figher x Tekken, Asura’s Wrath, the 3DS Resident Evil games, RE: Operation Raccoon City, and…something new and unannounced.
What could this new game be? Famitsu didn’t give any hints, but Capcom already has, opening up a teaser site in Japan today (shown above) that depicts a silhouetted figure and a clock that counts down to next Wednesday.
A little detective work on the part of Japanese blogs suggests that the site (whose URL ends with “DD”) might be for a game called Dragon’s Dogma, a trademark that Capcom filed with the Japanese government last September. Whether this turns out to be true or not is something we’ll just have to wait ’til next week to discover.
