With Facebook being the biggest social site created, game developers have been trying to make games that are easy to pick up and play while browsing your page. Over the past couple years, social games have been appearing and taking the world by storm. Games like Farmville, Mafia Wars, and other great titles have shown that social games are a very popular and are here to stay. The game reviewed today is called Street Rally.

Now, let me just say first off, that this is a browser game. Not a full release on a console or handheld of any kind. That being said, for a free game to play on Facebook, it is a very solid title. Anyone who was a fan of the old RC games would love this. The gameplay is what matters in a game. The graphics can be the best in the world, but if the gameplay is not good, the game will not go anywhere. This is not the case with Street Rally. The gameplay is the tried and true method of the arrow keys to go around the course, with shift being used as the nitro. While the controls can be a little sluggish, the overall experience is not bad.

You have different cars to control, and can change the cars color. Pretty simple stuff. The difficulty however comes in the form of the tracks you race on.  You will be swerving around turns, going through parks, and racing into tight hairpin turns, all while trying to set the best lap time and total race time you can. You can race against your friends online, and fight for the best race time. There is also worldwide leaderboards that show how you rank in the world. Set a fast time, and brag about it to your friends!

The only downfall of this game is the lack of depth. Not too many cars, and not many tracks hinder this otherwise great game. However, remember that it is free game you play on facebook, and with that in mind, is a great browser game. If they add some more cars and tracks, this will be a much better experience. Overall however, you get a great looking game that is easy to pick up and play. What more can you ask for?
