Nostalgia is almost always good, particularly when it’s easily accessible and free. Website Pica Pic features ports of a variety of Game & Watch-esque, retro handheld games that can be played right from your browser.
Each of the devices has had its buttons mapped to the keyboard. High scores are also tracked, a feature that obviously was never included in any of these games, some of which date back to the early ’80s.
The project was put together by Hipopotam Studio (which also operates a rather confusing website that occasionally plays clips from random episodes of The X-Files, among other things).
