The Spike Video Game Awards capped the night with the trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. It relied mostly on (non-CG) cutscenes, with some interspersed gameplay reserved for the end. The biggest reveal was an official release date, which put Drake’s next adventure on the increasingly crowded, but easy to remember, November 1, 2011. Several games with trailer debuts tonight staked a claim for the nearby date of 11/11/11, so unless we see some delays you should be ready to mark your calendars for taking off a few sick days.
