Sony recently detailed upcoming PlayStation Plus goodies on the PlayStation.Blog, and one of the incentives is good news for comics fans. Sometime in the near future all Plus members will be invited to the beta for DC Universe Online. Details are slim at the moment, but the blog promises more information soon. The announcement was presented in the context of releases for the holiday season, so the wait shouldn’t be too long.
PlayStation Plus has offered users a few beta tests, though not all of them come to every subscriber. A test for AC Brotherhood opened to all Plus users, but Killzone 3 opted to offer a select number of codes to members of the Plus pool.
Other upcoming Plus incentives include a full game trial of Borderlands, discounts on NeoGeo games as they hit the store, and the minis title A Space Shooter for the sale price of two bucks. Check out our recent DC Universe Online preview while you wait to try it out for yourself.
