This week’s lineup of Nintendo downloads brings indie platformer Cave Story to the DS.
Created by Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya over the span of about five years, Cave Story began as a freeware release on the PC back in 2004. Since then it’s graced just about every platform imaginable (including graphing calculators), and, as of today, that includes the Nintendo DSi.
The Metroid-inspired game will set you back 1,000 DSi Points ($10) on the DSiWare Store. A free demo for the WiiWare version is also available this morning.
