Gematombe which is developed by Route 5 Games and published by Ratalaika Games; is an action block puzzle game with a competitive element that is reminiscent of older games like Arkanoid, Puzzle Bobble, Breakout, Puyo-Puy, Touhou, and more. Gematombe tests players to hurl a ball toward a wall of gems in order to clear them and win points. Its innovative gameplay mechanic blends aspects of both action and puzzle games. Players risk losing a life, though, if they allow the ball to land on their side of the screen.

The game offers numerous play options, such as a single-player story mode, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer. In the narrative mode, a young woman named Pandora travels the globe in order to gather all of the bad spirits that she accidentally let out of her box. While the online multiplayer option allows players to compete against people from across the world, the local multiplayer mode allows players to compete against each other in head-to-head contests.
