New details have emerged regarding Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the upcoming sequel to the 2006 film adaptation of Konami’s popular survival horror series (via Empire Online).
Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane, Deathwatch) will be handling directing duties, and has apparently written the screenplay as well. Bassett says that development is still in the early stages, but that he plans to remain true to the plot of the third game.
Fans of the series will recall that the third game stars a teenaged girl named Heather who is drawn to the town, where she soon becomes entangled in the cult’s plans for her to birth their god.
