The trope of online shooters has been a thing for a grand ole’ while. Whether or not they get any better or stay stale with games like COD, where players of that just like it and buy it like they do their local news paper(if to many still do that) along with their gallon of milk. It is more so if something becomes trendy another will scoop up the ball and try to run with it. Or change some concepts to it, keeping it fresh to play. Marauders, you play as some space pirates who out reach in space for supplies, ammo, guns, and outlasting other players in rounds of a space station or two. Playing it alone, is not advised.

Marauders on Steam

You start off with a hefty amount of money, and a big old backpack of weapons. I am assuming they expect you to die a lot, and lose your loot in the process, as this game is a perma-death. It is more of short burst version of Escape from Tarkov. Without certain aspects of difficulty to understand or get the hang of. It still offers the intensity through this example. As I mentioned trying to play this solo is not so great of a idea. Having team mates to watch your back makes it so much more enjoyable, aspect to “lone-wolving”. Some prefer that, I use the style whenever I play a competitive FPS at times, otherwise a game with the tag “PVPVE” on it I tend to prefer extra players as it is a social experience. The games gunplay aims to be as realistic as possible. Guns have a odd or two kick or drift whenever you fire to heavily. So it makes you adjust your shots, lightly peppering ai enemies whom wonder around fortresses.

Marauders is getting really good now! - YouTube

In Closing, it offers some nice elements, for those players who like to play tactically, while give you a smoother to play experience without the tactile nature of a Tarkov. Tarkov is built that way for a reason and that is what makes it more unique for it. Not every game requires you to know every screw and bolt of a game. Takes away from certain styles of games quickly. Otherwise work if done right. Marauders Offers that nice blend of chaos, in a satisfying package.
