To commemorate one year since 3D Dot Game Heroes was originally released in Japan, developer From Software has opened a lounge in PlayStation Home based on the game’s Dotnia Castle.

According to Inside Games, the lounge is designed to give Home users a “taste” of the game’s distinct world. Visitors with 3D Dot Game Heroes save data on their PS3 hard drive will receive a special gift, and all guests may purchase blocky furniture to bring a piece of Dotnia into their virtual living spaces. The castle also features (in collaboration with Irem) a direct conduit to the Spelunker Home lounge which opened last year to promote the PSN release Minna de Spelunker.
