All-Women Speedrunning Marathon Taking Place Online August 21-27

July 8, 2022 – Today, Games Done Quick announced the schedule for its upcoming all-women speedrunning marathon Flame Fatales, taking place August 21-27. The event will take place online and will be broadcast on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel.
Some of this year’s speed-runs include:
- Phasmophobia co-op [any% Nightmare] run by Nichole Goodnight and Bathinjan
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [Bonus Tracks and DLC Tracks] with amber_cxc
- Pokemon Legends: Arceus [Beat Kleavor] with kaguyanicky
- Stardew Valley [Crafts Room] with blackheartwings

Flame Fatales 2022 will be held in support of Malala Fund, a non-profit that works to secure free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world.
Flame Fatales is the summer all-women speedrunning event run by Games Done Quick’s Frame Fatales community. The group also holds a winter event called Frost Fatales.
Since 2010, Games Done Quick has partnered with some of the world’s most impactful charities, including AbleGamers, Doctors Without Borders, Organization for Autism Research, Malala Fund, and Prevent Cancer Foundation, all while bringing people together to cheer on the best speedrunners and gamers in the world. To date, Games Done Quick events have raised over $41 million in total for charity.
