Cassette Beasts Highlights Intricate Fusion System
Fuse monster forms to generate thousands of unique combinations
Developer Bytten Studio has revealed more details about Cassette Beasts’ massive and deeply engaging Fusion gameplay system. The Fusion system allows players to combine any two monster forms of the 120 available to generate over 14,000 fully animated and unique combinations. Fusion works like a temporary evolution during battle, transforming your player character and chosen (human) companion into a single monster form. From then on, until you un-fuse, the two characters work as one, with combined elemental types, stats, and access to both sets of moves. Some of your opponents have access to this ability, too, so you’ll need to get creative to come out ahead.
Trailer:
Cassette Beasts is an open-world RPG with turn-based battles where you record and capture monsters to tape, then play them back to take on their form for battle! Explore the remote island of New Wirral as you try to find a way home, and record monsters to your trusty cassette tapes to gain their abilities.
Cassette Beasts will be available on Windows, Linux, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass and Nintendo Switch. Join the Discord and wishlist the game on Steam for future updates.

A First Glimpse into Flat Eye’s Gameplay
The developers at MONKEY MOON, who created Night Call, are excited to share more about the gameplay of Flat Eye. A first-look trailer debut in March revealed the game’s core premise, in which players step into the role of manager for a futuristic gas and retail station. The latest video provides more information about the actual gameplay by digging deeper into the module element of this story-forward management sim.
Trailer:
Operating a Flat Eye station, players will need to research and build different modules to keep customer satisfaction high and earn profits. The trailer shows how services like a toilet can be upgraded into a “smart toilet,” which will not only better serve customers when nature calls, but also take the biological information deposited in that station and convert it into medical data. This data can be used to construct different medical modules to address the healthcare needs of customers. “Premium” customers will also impact the types of modules that can be accessed, and their tales will touch on humanity’s increasing reliance on technology and what that means for our future in an honest way.
Flat Eye will release later this year on PC and can be wishlisted now on Steam!
