Everhood is a very unique game in which you play as a scarecrow or wood boy, whose arm has been stolen by the blue thief. So the only natural thing to do is go after him. However, it seems like our little hero has bitten off more than he can chew. He must go through trials and tribulations in order to regain his arm. He has to dodge the smooth moves of VIP, frogs and then climb his way back to his arm.

I really enjoy the game a lot. I originally played the demo of this a while back and fell in love with the game. There are five different modes you can select from Story Mode, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Expert making sure that the game has a mode for everyone. For the sake of sanity I choose to go with easy mode because I didn’t want it to be too easy which is what Story Mode does, it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the story, but I still wanted to be able to play the game and enjoy the story.

The controls seem to be well done from the time I played the demo and were better responsive and I am glad that they improve that because, in rhythm games, the response of the controls is a huge key to making sure the game is done well.

I feel that Everhood is on the right track and that the game could be in the tier of Undertale as a cult classic and I recommend it to those who are fans of Undertale. Everhood is a game you want to have in your collection and a game that people will talk about for years to come.
