Before I begin my review of Giraffe and Annika I would like to thank both atelier mimina and PLAYISM for providing thedailygamepad.net with a free copy of the game for me to play on my stream. It is due to their generosity that I was able to cover the game.

In Giraffe and Annika, you play as the adorable Annika who wakes up without any memory and meets Giraffe who appears to be a Neko as well, who needs Annika’s help getting star fragments from the dungeons. The game looks gorgeous.

When it comes to the controls you can use the keyboard and mouse as well as a controller. Both the controller and KBM controls are pretty solid. When it comes to the Rhythm Game you have to wait for the balls to land in the circle. I just figured I would mention it here because I had issues with it during my actual stream. Therefore, I think a better explanation of how to play the rhythm portion of the game could have helped a bit. It does allow for you to calibrate which is good, but that extra explanation could have helped with some of the confusion.

Overall, the game was cute and fun and I enjoyed. If you would like to play Giraffe and Annika for yourself, you can do so on PC and purchase the game from STEAM for $19.99 USD.
