Have you ever wondered why role playing game dungeons work the way they do? Why are they full of magic weapons and all that candle light? Why are there libraries full of tomes and piles of gold just lying around? Does any of this make any sense at all?
It really doesn’t, but in the upcoming Dungeons, Realmforge Studios has taken that weird ecosystem and written a backstory for it, so to speak. You need all of those things to attract heroes to your dungeon, because they want them. And then you capture these heroes and harvest their souls. Dungeons are, in fact, elaborate mousetraps built so that one dungeon lord can fight his way up to the top of an evil bureaucracy.
