Xbox Australia has announced plans to show the first 15 minutes of the Halo 5: Guardians campaign as it is played on the world’s largest aerial screen, flown 2,000 feet (609 metres) above Sydney’s coastline.
The aerial screen will launch into the sky on October 26 at approximately 7:30PM and progress down the coastline from Curl Curl to Coogee before making its way back. The screen will allegedly be visible from over three kilometres away. One lucky Halo fan will be playing the game from helicopter above Sydney’s Bondi Beach. The fan will be chosen from “consumers who have pre-ordered Halo 5: Guardians or the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Console Bundle from MSStore.com.au.”
Halo 5: Guardians will launch on October 27 exclusively for the Xbox One. The game will introduce a new multiplayer mode called WarZone, which supports up to 24 players.
