[UPDATE] The new mode is called Free Run. The asymmetrical mode takes the form of a Titanfall-looking time trial course full of challenges that task you to use the game’s new movement abilities. The courses get progressively more difficult, and can be “punishing” at higher levels. In addition, this mode is available right away, you don’t have to unlock it.

Activision’s “Black Ops Fridays” livestream series continues today with a new broadcast that’s starting now. Watch the video below to see Treyarch reveal an all-new Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer game mode. The broadcast was supposed to start at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT, but it’s a little late. Keep checking back.
We’ll have more from the video event later today after it wraps up. Subsequent Black Ops Fridays videos will be held every Friday through the end of the month.
Black Ops III launches on November 6 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. For lots more on the game’s campaign, which stars actors from Law & Order and Battlestar Galactica and won’t be available on last-gen systems, check out GameSpot’s just-published preview.
Activision has also released a new Shadows of Evil trailer which sets up the Zombies story and provides a look at how actors Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman, Heather Graham, and Neal McDonough look in the game.
