The screenshot artist who goes by the name Berdu has created some stunning Star Wars Battlefront images that look so good it’s difficult to believe they’re real. The screenshots you see in the gallery below (via Kotaku) were all taken in-game on PC, but Berdu did much more than simply press the screenshot button.
To make these images look as good as they do, Berdu used console commands to get rid of the HUD, while he also leveraged some third-party software that allowed him to move the camera freely. In addition, he enlisted a friend to stage some of the images (they died a lot in the game to get the images).
As for the ultra-high resolution, that comes from Battlefront’s Nvidia resolution support for up to 5120×2800. Berdu also was able to manually resize the game window to capture images in full HD.

Battlefront’s multiplayer beta ended on October 13; it attracted 9 million players across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, representing the largest beta in EA’s history.
In other recent news, EA has announced that Battlefront is getting four expansion packs that you can buy through the game’s $50 DLC pass. In addition, three new multiplayer modes have been revealed, while DICE has admitted that the 40-player Walker Assault mode is poorly balanced and will be changed.
Battlefront launches on November 17, about a month before JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens hits theaters. DICE is developing tie-in DLC that will be free for all Battlefront players, but people who preorder will get to play before everyone else.
